Railway fuses are mainly used for a short circuit protection in rolling stock equipment and facilities. The fuese are intended for protection of lines, cables and electrical equipments against overload and short circuit in locomotives, trains, metros, etc. So, fuses are important locomotive electrical parts. RISL can supply a wide range of fuses for railway applications, including but not limited to: NT series blade knife type, NH series blade knife type, R034A series blade knife type, RTO series blade knife type, RT series blade knife type, and so on.
For instance, NT series blade knife fuses are used for overload and short circuit protection of distributing line. The rated volate is AC380-690V (DC 440V), and rated current up to 1,250A (AC 50-60Hz) (gtr\aM/gM). NT/NT/RT0 fuse carrier is used as a mounting/dismantling and replacing tool for NT/NT/RT0 fuse body. The rated voltage is AC 1,000V, and rated current upt to 1,250A (AC 50-60Hz). The blade knife fuses can be used in locomotive electric appliance cabinet.
