A main alternator in a locomotive is a generator which provides the power to move the train. So, sometimes it is also called main generator. Driven by a diesel engine, the main alternator produces direct current to provide power for DC traction motors mounted on the trucks (bogies). So, a main generator is a main electrical component for a locomotive.
RISL can supply the following synchronous main alternators for locomotives:
TQFR-3000E | JF202 | JF204 |
JF204C | JF204D | JF205A |
JF208S | JF210C | JF211 |
JF212 | JF213 | JF217B |
GTA24A3 | JF217B1 | …… |
Take JF217B brushless synchronous main generator as an example, it is brushless and has a struction of dual-shaft extension, dual-bearing support and radial self-ventilation. It is composed of the coaxial installation of the alternator and the exciter.
The above-mentioned main generators have been equipped onto many Chinese diesel locomotives which are running both at home and abroad. The quality and performance have been tested and proved already for long time.
In addition to the above locomotive main alternators, RISL can supply full range of spare parts, including but not limited to:
Stator assembly, stator, stator coil, shaft, exciter rotor, exciter stator, exciter stator coil, excess voltage protection module, rotating commutated module, bearing, rings, seals, caps, and etc.
If you are interested in any main alternators or the spare parts, or any of RISL products, please do not hesitate to contact RISL or send us an email at risl@zyllgroup.com.
