Railway resistors are important electrical parts. RISL can supply a number of railway resistors used in locomotives, ranging from tubular resistors to non-tubular types, mainly including but not limited to:
ZG11, RXYC, RX20, RX20T, RXG20, RXG20T Series Tubular Wirewound Resistors
These resistors are coated with lead free vitreous enamel and the core is ceramic tube. Such resistors are mainly used in the direct current (DC) or the low frequency alternating current (AC) circuits. They can also be used in the high frequency circuit. In some applications, resistance adjustable resistors are needed.
RXHG-A and RXHG-B High Power Bandwound Resistors
These resistors are suitable for DC or low frequency AC circuit of high power electric equipment. The vertical wave shpae is good for heat sink, reducing parasitic inductance and prolonging the service life. There are two ways of coating: vitreous enael coating for RXHG-A models and organic or inorganic resin coating for RXHG-B models.
