Air brake valve is an important component in locomotive’s braking system. Air brake valves JZ-7 and JZ-7G are widely used in Chinese locomotives. The performance of JZ-7 air brake valve is similar to that of 26-L air brake valve, but JZ-7 air brake valve adds low-pressure overcharge performance and a relay valve with good flushing and exhausting functions. Therefore, the valve fundamentally overcomes the poor charging and discharging performance of 26-L aire brake valve.
JZ-7 air brake valve is composed of automatic braking valve, independent braking valve, relay valve, distribution valve, acting valve, equalizing air cylinder, working air cylinder, pressure reducing air cylinder, acting air cylinder, and brake cylinder, etc.
Air brake valves JZ-7 and JZ-7G adopt rubber diaphragms, plunger valves, O-rings, stop valves, etc. Such adoption can not only extend the maintenance period, but also make manufacturing, operation and maintenance more convenient.
